about | didex and photography
My name is Dedy Iswanto, I prefer if people call me didex. I currently live in Medan, North Sumatra, Indonesian Country and work in a Banking Company. I graduated from the Gadjah Mada University majoring in Computer Science class of 2001. Gadjah Mada University is the oldest public university in Indonesia which is located in the city of Yogyakarta. Established on December 19, 1949, Gadjah Mada University is the first university established after Indonesia’s independence.
I love photography, because I can record the moments in my life and freeze them into a picture that will be stored forever is something quite extraordinary. Pictured is a social record then enforce social norms in photography as in everyday life. As a lover of photography, I must still uphold the ethics of photography. For me, the camera is simply a tool that most important is who the man behind the camera.
Why didex photography???
The reason I chose a name for my blog with didex photography, because I hope someday that name becomes familiar, a container of photography is owned by Dedy Iswanto, the man who was behind all this. Finally, I get the right concept for my blog. Here I tell about all my experience in the travel / documentary. Sometimes I saw the place, people, culture, landscape, architecture, building, which I have never seen before. Is my pleasure when I can share my stories, photos I took in traveling, and I can show it to you on this photoblog. On the other hand, I have some photos that are not from my traveling, or there may be some in my traveling but not into the photoblog.
I am more familiar with photography since 2010. I always learn to better master the field of photography. Every weekend I always make time to do the photo hunting. When I leave from work, I spend time traveling to a place I had never visited before to get the photos that I never get. Many thanks especially to my brother Novri Wahyu Perdana, the best brother and friend. I learned a lot about photography from him, and he’s always been a partner in every way.

Exceptional work! I love to travel and enjoy learning about other parts of the world. Your writings and photography give me a look at an area I’ve never been to before, but hope to visit someday. I am going to subscribe and can’t wait to see more of your images!

While I was visiting your Space today I noticed those wonderful photographs
of the Llamas and while I was looking I made a quick sketch of one of them, I
hope that you don’t mind that I did that as I stayed on your Space while I did
my sketch, I am not really an artist and am very much a writer but I was given
a sort of challenge to pick up a pencil and try and draw something… My first
attempt was a Werewolf that I sketched from a Graphic I have on my computer
and after completing it I added the Werewolf to my Space… Okay so why am I
telling you this? Well for the simple reason that while I was busy enjoying your
photographs today I noticed that Llama and quite by surprise I thought of doing
a sketch of it while I was on your Space, and after ten minutes I had drawn the
Llama and added my drawing to my Space, and so because I was inspired by
your photograph I just thought that it was only right to mention it in case you
were offended, as this is definitely not what I had intended… Anyway my friend
if you call by it is the first posting that you will see and if you wish me to remove
the drawing that I did then of course I will do that my friend, and no problem…
