Huanglong Scenic Area
Huanglong (China: 黄龙; literally “yellow dragon”) is located in the north province of Songpan is a historic place in the People’s Republic of China. Minshan located in the mountains, 150 kilometers (93 miles) north-northwest of the capital Chengdu. Huanglong valley of snow-capped mountain peaks. We can see the incredible scenery along this region. In addition to mountain scenery, diverse forest ecosystems can be found, as well as spectacular limestone formations, colorful pools formed by calcite deposits. Is home to many endangered species including the Giant Panda and the Sichuan Golden Snub-nosed Monkey. Huanglong declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO in 1992.
